View Full Version : Vegetarian no supplement diet possible?

I know supplement are good for the body, but I assume it would still be better if your body got 'em fresh. I am vegetarian, so I dont even eat egg or fish. But I can eat soya, milk, honey, wheat, fruits, and vegetables. Is it possible for me to do a heavy workout without any deficiency?

How is your diet like exactly?
protein? only from soy?

vegan or vegetarian? I believe vegan's are more strict! My understanding is that vego's can eat egg etc, but not meats.
Anyhow, I would definitely recommend a vitamin tablet if you are vegan. It's likely that you will have some deficiencies. If you are looking for a protein supplement then you should have whey! - Seeing as you have milk.

If you are fine with dairy then that is a great source of protein. Milk, cheese, cottage cheese. Nothing wrong with whey. it is just food.
