Do you think doing a regular workout 5 days prior to testing (Vert,Broad,Shuttle, 40 etc.) is to close to the testing date. My plan would be to do the regular workout that I've been doing (the only leg exercises would be heavy SLDL and some calf work). and then take Saturday day off. Sunday would be light activity and then monday do a warm up with some striders and a cool down. Tuesday would strictly be a warm up and cool down.

Nope. If you are exercising regularly, 5 days is more than enough time to recover.

It's not about recovery.

It's for the same reason powerlifters don't max out 5 days prior to a meet, it's about peaking at the right time.

Ric, you've trained this long, testing stuff this close to a Pro day will not benefit you at all. At this point you can't get faster, however you CAN get slower.

The times you'd see will only mess with your head at this point.

Just keep going your speed training up until about 3 days out and then just take it light, stretch, ice anything that hurts and do the best you can on your Pro day.

Yeah I'm definitely not timing until pro-day, I'm just trying to get my legs back strong and my hip drive strong again. I'll only have about 3 weeks of olympic and lowerbody lifts before pro-day because of my bummed shoulder.
