I'm in El Paso for a month and my hotel room has a microwave, paper plates and a mini fridge. I'm planning a trip to Walmart but not sure what to buy that I can cook up with just a microwave. Ideas would be appreciated.

You don't need a microwave for this, but... Frozen shrimp. They have mondo protein in them little suckers. 3 oz serving = 18 g of protein.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

The human body produces cholesterol and will downregulate it's own production when there is more dietary cholesterol. We evolved eating meat which has cholesterol. It's not bad for us, it plays important roles in the human body.

Sweet potatoes are good after 5 minutes in the microwave and don't need to be stored in a fridge.
