This look ok?

4.30pm: 1 slice bread, few slices chicken
5.30pm: 1 glass milk

5.30-6.30 workout

6.30: whey protein with water, 1 orange
6.45: dinner which is rice, veges, chicken, and sauce

I'm having the sandwich for the complex carbs and a bit of protein, and the milk for protein and simple carbs for energy. The protein and orange post workout is for muscle repair and simple carbs for the insulin spike. Dinner is just my normal dinner which has complex carbs and protein

Looks fine to me. Doubt the milk right before is really necessary but if it doesn't bother your stomach there's really no reason not to drink it.

^--Agreed. Milk right before a workout doesn't sound great to me but if you can handle it then go for it.

For me, it wouldn't be enough food pre-workout but if it's working for you, keep doing it.

Thanks guys. I have no problem having milk beforehand - there isn't anything actually bad about having it beforehand is there?

No, the only reason I mentioned it is because for me at least, drinking milk right before any kind of strenuous activity can lead to some nausea.
