I just bought a Foam Roller tonight, I was just wondering how many days a week using it would be best? Off days, every day?

I do it pretty much everyday. Definitely helps.

I think it's a post workout must. I have a softball I use too.

I use mine pretty much every day, sometimes even twice a day if I've spent the day sitting. I like foam rolling preworkout as part of my warmup.

I use it once a day and can tell a big difference if I don't use it

When you guys come to a tight tender spot do you stop on it and put pressure or roll back and forth on it for say 30 secs??

It depends on where it is and how bad it is. I generally roll out slow and easy and try to work the entire muscle belly. If one spot hurts particularly bad, I'll go over it a couple/few more times. I don't roll myself like bread dough.

Both. I hold constant pressure until it releases a bit. Then I focus on rolling that area. The softball is better for that since it's more targeted.

I try to foam roll everyday but it never turns out that way.

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna start using it as a warm-up on my squat and deadlift days, and on my off days.

If I pull a muscle or something is unusually sore I'll foam roll multiple times a day. Also, try heating any really sore spots up first with a heating pad before foam rolling, makes a difference. Pretty much anything to get some blood moving helps.
