For years my morning meal has always consisted of either 2 cups egg whites with spinach and whole wheat toast, or 1 cup oats 1 tbsp Natty PB and 2 scoops whey. I rotated between the two, for the last two year with great success. lately though, I have been getting massive cramping and gas when I eat the latter. At first I thought it was the whey, so I switched to Lactose free, then when the cramping didnít change, I knew it was the oats. Yes my precious oats are making me entirely to bloated and uncomfortable. I have tried different brands, but it was to no avail. The results were the same. Now I know their are other complex carb options out there, but Oates are appealing because theyíre cheap, quick, and versatile. The only other option I could imagine would be a decent replacement would be grits. Would this in fact be a good switch?
