That is a good deal, free shipping and free SPUD straps is about a $25-35 value.

The sled is 12" x 16" and holds up to (4) 45 lbs plates.

Just so everyone knows I'm currently in negotiations with Scott for a bunch of stuff. He's great, really easy to talk to and work with. Thus far I highly recommend him.

Scott is an Elite level powerlifter (242 and 275) so he knows how to build equipment for competitive athletes. He/We use everything he builds in our gym and usually test out the prototypes to see if they "hold up" before he markets them to his customers.

If he doesn't answer your emails this weekend it's because he is competing today in Louisiana!

Fellas, if you have questions just email Scott at the address in the ad. I wouldn't know how to answer questions regarding shipping etc.

It depends on what you are using the sled for and your surroundings.

Sleds are noisy and so if you do not want to bother neighbors then I would recommend going on grass. If you want to do a heavier sled pull then you are better off on pavement so that your shoes will have traction. Live grass can be a bit tougher to pull the sled on because there is more resistance, which is also something to consider since this sled does not hold very much weight.

Do you have experience pulling on turf Tom? Like in the photo above. That is mainly what I'll be pulling on.

Had some at our old location. Slides easier than grass, but a tad tougher than pulling a sled on concrete. I prefered it for the prowler b/c a prowler will get stuck on concrete sometimes.

I do not have any experience with that type of turf, sorry.

It looks like Adam provided some information that could be helpful.

You can always add runners to decrease resistance or save your flooring if you had to. I have seen it done to Yoke implements in the past.
