View Full Version : Overall: Diet Ideas... What do you do?

I'd like to create a new thread about some healthy diet / meal ideas. I'll give an example of one I just created recently that has given me amazing mid-day energy.

Anything over the weekend I make whole wheat pasta, 5 cans of tuna, 5 grated carrots, 1 can of chick peas, 1 can of white beans, a red pepper and mix it in a big bowl. I make enough for the week to bring lunches to work (office job). This is almost zero grams of fat with quality protein and quality carbs and lots of fiber. I'll eat this with mixed nuts to get some healthy fats during this meal.

Post any of your interesting ideas like this to help benefit others...

Before i submit the thread, another idea:
I have a pre-workout shake with 12 ounces of milk, 1 cup of oatmeal, 1 whole banana, a spoonful of peanut butter, a scoop of whey, and 5g of creatine monohydrate. Sometimes I throw arginine in there too.
