Strongman Competition Under 200 Class

Here is a video from last weekends strongman competition. I ended up finishing 3rd overall.

Event 1: Fire Truck Pull (37,000 pounds) for 80 ft. – I took 1st place on this event.

Event 2: Tire Flip (800 pounds)/Farmers Walk (210 each hand) for 80 ft. each. - I took 5th place on this event.

Event 3: Log Press (200 pounds) for reps in 1 minute. I hit 15 reps here to take 1st place on this event.

Event 4: Car Deadlift (Honda Civic)for reps in 1 minute – I hit 26 reps on this event, hitting my 27th rep right after time was up. This was good enough for 3rd place on this event.

Event 5: Stone Loading (5 stones – 180 pounds to 300) – I loaded all 5 stones, but my time was just fast enough for 3rd place.

*Notice: At the beginning of the truck pull the man in black on the left is 3-Time World’s Strongest Man Bill Kazmaier.

Thanks man! This is my 3rd NAS sanctioned competition, but 4th total. I've been training strongman for a little over a year, but I've been weight training for over 10 years. First for football, then got into bodybuilding, powerlifting, and now my favorite - strongman.

Yeah, to be exact I've been training for strongman for about 14 months as of this competition.

My first one wasn't sanctioned by NAS.

My other 3 where NAS Sanctioned. These where March '09, December '09, March '10.
