Anybody have some good recipes for shrimp? I like them in lots of garlic and butter and I have tried different things and they don't come out like Red Lobster's. I'm just wondering if anybody here can toss me some ideas....Thanks!!!!!

I call this HOT Shrimp: It's a very quick dish to prepare about 15 minutes total to prep/cook/clean up.

Shrimp-Large/Jumbo ( we buy ours at Sams Club/Cosco)
Olive Oil, couple turns around the skillet
Red Pepper Flakes-to taste
Crushed Garlic-to taste
Salt/Pepper-to taste

Heat skillet to med-med-high heat, heat olive oil, then add shrimp, red
pepper flakes, crushed garlic and salt and pepper. Cook till done, 4-5
minutes or pink.

I used to make this all the time. Really good:

Peel large or jumbo shrimp, toss with salt, pepper, basil, set aside
Coarsly chop cashews (or buy chopped cashews) about 1/4 cup or however much you want.
Mince 1-2 cloves of garlic
Boil water in a medium saucepan

Heat skillet to medium, add olive oil and garlic.
Add shrimp and chopped cashews

While shrimp is cooking add linguine (or any pasta) to boiling water.

When it's all done, combine shrimp and cashews with pasta, add in cooked broccoli and toss with olive oil, basil and oregano.

It takes a little time to make, but so worth it.

When we do steak and shrimp, we peel the shrimp, butter them, evoo in the pan, and cook them adding spices such as pepper, season salt, cajun seasoning, garlic salt, whatever you like for seasoning. Right before they finish cooking, add a handful of 0 carb grated parmesan cheese to them suckers, if you can, cover until all the chesse is melted goodness on the shimp. Very good stuff, and it's quite simple.

1/4 cup plus 1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
2 limes, juiced
2 teaspoons honey
2 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, finely grated
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup canola oil, divided
1 1/4 pounds large (21-24) shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 stick butter, softened
Whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, the lime juice, honey, ginger, garlic and 1/4 cup canola oil in a bowl and add to a food processor. Add the softened butter and pulse until thoroughly combined.

Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and brush mixture onto the shrimp. Place onto preheated grill and cook in a single layer for 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until just cooked through.

Try this recipe i hope u like it and Shrimp is my favourite dish.

im a big fan of shrimp also but never get around to preparing them, but when i do i usually make a couple pretty good dishes..

This ones kinda like a recipe already posted above...but its basically a shrimp n brocoli alfredo bowl...
3oz. panko shrimp (any kind of small shrimp will do)
2oz. WW pasta (any shape)
1 cup brocoli
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
1 tbspn. Fat-Free Philadelphia Cream cheese
hot sauce (optional)
Parm cheese (in moderation use if like)
Mrs Dash
garlic powder

In a medium-hight heat pot pour in noodles, shrimp, AND brocoli and just let all boil and cook together. While thats working just mix in yogurt, cream cheese and spices, in a bowl and set to side.
Once fully cooked, remove the noodle/shrimp mix from heat and pour right into sauce bowl. Stir well until blended and mixrowave for about 30-45 seconds just to get the sauce hot. Enjoy!

Calories- 385
Protein- 38-40 g protein (depends on the shrimp really)
Carbs- 55g
Fat- 6g

Spicy Peanut Shrimp.

Shrimp + 1 tbsp of Olive Oil.

Cook this in a pan until the shrimp is almost done.

After it is cooked, drop heat on stove eye to low.


1 tbsp of Rooster Sauce

1 tbsp of peanut butter (I use smart balance)

1 tsp (or less) of low-sodium soy sauce

1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

Stir and heat with the shrimp until the rest of the sauce starts to thicken and mix up with the shrimp. I usually mix it with cooked quinoa or brown rice, but it also works fine on its own.
