how wide should one stand? I love wide stance but am thinking of putting the bar HIGH instead of lower to keep the bar from rolling and keep me more upright to pull the bar down into my back more.
also..when ascending..do you guys shove your knees out hard or just drive up?

i'm thinking I need to focus on knees going out if that's a plus, even as I decend into the hole..and leading with my hips out of it at the same time driving my chest up and back....

thanks guys..really putting it down on my squatting. Bench and deadlift are fine..but squats..especially after a 60lb cut from january are getting harder and harder to I'm taking out all the little iffy things to get my squat as sound as possible to start hitting them hard again.

If your raw I would go shoulder width or slightly out with a weightlifting shoe to help hit depth easier.
