Hi all.
I've been seriously training for the last 4 months. My best lifts are
Bench 120kg
Trap bar deadlift 225kg
Military press 87.5kg

My goal is to get bigger and stronger.

Today I did
Bench 1x6 60kg, 1x5 80kg, 1x5 95kg, 2x5 90kg.

Had way more to do but it's getting dark and I need to walk the dogs.

Last 9 days were just a bunch of drinking and not working out. Pretty pathetic.

Bench has really suffered since stopping Sheiko. Going to start it again on Monday.

Got some minor back pain today. Also a somewhat lucky dumbbell accident.

Wow VERY crappy workout today. Even the barbell felt heavy.

Bench 1rm@120kg
50% 5x1, 60% 5x1, 70% 4x1, 75% 3x2, 80% 2x2,
75% 3x2, 70% 4x1, 60% 6x1, 50% 8x1

Glad heaps more to do byt my shoulders got extremely sore. Could barely lift my arms. Really weird as I haven't had shoulder pain in years.
Really hope this isn't something to be worried about

Average day today. Although it's good that I did dips without the bands today.

Dips 3x5 woohoo without bands :cool:

Pushed myself to the limit today.
Did trap bar deadlifts 1x5 210kg. The 4th rep was a real grinder but the 5th was just beyond insane.
Took me about half an hour just to recover from that.
Doubled the strength of the post workout shake because I know my body needs it after that.
That 5th rep was BY FAR the hardest I've ever pushed myself.
Kinda scared for next weeks workout after that.

Tested my bench 1rm. Got 125KG. 5KG PR, WOO HOO!

Pull ups 3x5
Also did some rotator work as I'm putting my shoulders under a lot of stress with the kind of weights I'm lifting.

I like the workouts, basic and abbreviated. Trap Bar Deadlifts are one of my favorite exercises. Are you more quad dominant or hamstring dominant with the Trap Bar? You might want to throw some lunges in if you are hamstring dominant, or throw some stiff leg deadlifts in if you are quad dominant.

I'm definately more hamstring dominant. Since I can't barbell squat for the moment I bought a hip belt so my quads get some work.

Yeah I just need some blocks to stand on so I can use my hip belt with proper depth.

Got a bit of shoulder paid but it sorted itself out at the end of the workout.

Did 1rm@120kg

Dips 1x4 BW+6.5kg. Tried to get a fifth but failed, BW 1x5

Dumbbell rows 37.5kgx5, 42.5kgx5

Tested my trap bar deadlift 1rm.
Tried 240kg and failed then 235kg and failed.
Last workout I got 210kgx5 so I should have been able to get the 235kg at least.
Must be a weak day and I think I'm not training the deadlifts hard enough.
From now on I'm going to do 3x3 Tuesday and Friday.

Neck is still sore but getting better.

Well the last month has been nothing but heavy drinking, bad eating and poor half assed workouts.
Today I tried 2x8 80kg squats. Back still biched about it, and that was with light weights. I'll just do hip belt squats till I get enough money to get a leg press.

Oddly today was a very strong day. I used my Sheiko 1rm of 125kg as my percentages. Got every rep easy. Must not have lost any stregnth.

I'm hoping to have a bench 1rm of 135kg at the end of this cycle (4 weeks). Probably won't make it, but who knows, hey worth trying.

Did @1rm 125kg

Bench Press 50% 5Х1, 60% 4Х1, 70% 3Х2, 75% 3Х5

Pull ups 3x5

Man this Sheiko training is just insane. Workout lasted over 2 hours and that's just bench!
I'm doing the hardest Sheiko bench program. I really hope it works out for me.
Couldn't even straighten my arms at the end of it.

Thought I'd test my bench press srength today.
Tried 127.5kg and didn't get it.

Then did @1rm 125kg Bench Press 50% 5Х1, 60% 4Х1, 70% 3Х2, 80% 2Х5

Cut it short today as I've got a workout tomorrow. I should really not let myself get behind like this.

Well today was a good day for my lats, average for my bench

did..

Bench Press @1rm of 125kg 50% 5рХ1п, 60% 4рХ1п, 70% 3рХ2п, 80% 3рХ5п

Pull ups. Unassisted 2 reps, red band, 5 reps, blue band 5 reps. dead easy. Back is getting a lot stronger.

Dumbbell rows 3x5 42kg. STRONG

Finished with some rotator work.

God I am so sick and ****ing tired of joint pain. If it's not my back it's my shoulders, if it's not my shoulders it's my neck, if it's not my neck it's my hips.

I AM SO TIRED OF THIS!

Had to finish my workout early today. Had heaps more to do but my left shoulder was in agony.

Now that I'm getting this payout I can afford a chiropractor. If that doesn't work I'm just going to sell my equipment. Everytime I progress joint pain gets in my way.

Crap workout today

Did: Bench Press 55% 5рХ1п, 65% 4рХ1п, 75% 3рХ2п, 85% 2рХ4п
Pull ups 3x5
Bench Press 50% 5рХ1п, 60% 4рХ1п, 70% 3рХ1п, 80% 3рХ2п

Still had incline presses and pushdowns to do but couldn't do them for obvious reasons.

Damn. Sorry to hear about the joints. Have you considered any homeopathic remedies? I know some fellow co-worker who use them. And swear by them too!

Wow good workout today.
Amazed at how much stronger my upper back is getting. I was able to do 3 FULL chin ups without the bands.

Got some shoulder pain, but it was very mild.

Did:

Bench @ 1rm of 125kg
50% 5x1, 60% 4x2, 70% 3x2, 75% 3x5

Chin ups 3 reps no bands, 5 reps red band, 3x5 blue band

Dips 3x5 blue band

Dumbbell rows 47.5kgx3x5

Started Westside today.
Stupid left shoulder got sore during my warm up. Had to stop.
Weird pain in my arm pit, no idea what it is.

Bench ME 1x5 60kg, 1x3 80kg, 1x3 100kg.
