View Full Version : Progession Picture's over 6 months 275 to 200

Hey everyone im 17 years old and have been lurking the forums for the past year or so andI currently just finished a 6 month long cut that brought me from 275 pounds down to 200 pounds. I decided to cut at the end of my high school football season where I was a 1st team all state Interior Linemen because I wanted to improve my physical appearance for this summer. My max lifts before the start of last years season were, 455 deadlift, 425 squat and 315 bench press with a sloppy 225 power clean.

I don't believe I lost any strength at all throughout my cut, I attribute the decrease in strength to not lifting in season last year. My current 1rm are, 445 Dead, 395 Squat, 290 bench.

Standing Barbell Press 3x5

Chin up 3x5
Ez curl 3x8
Weighted dips 3x8

Im currently eating 2200 calories a day give or take 150 with around 300 gram of protein, 100g Carbs and the rest from fats. Now I have a few questions, can anyone estimate my current BF% please im very curious but im not sure where i can go to get it actually tested without paying a ton. In addition, Im starting to feel a little on the thin side lol and im planning on bulking to around 240 for christmas, does this seam realistic?Also, I have ridiculous amounts of loose skin all over primarily in the midsection though, is there anyway to get rid of it or is just going to take time because its really ugly. FInally, Is my program sound or can anyone else offer advice or improvements? I will be playing football in College at WIlkes University and would like to be a lean 250 by my senior year, I'll be a freshman this year.

Do you keep a journal with your lifts in it? With weights used, etc.

Where is your main source of protein intake? Shakes, Fish, Meat?

How tall are you? Because for even at 275 you didn't look fat or anything. And those are some awesome lifts for 200lb and you barely lost anything for a 75lb cut. Great job man. I'm jealous.

Yep I have all of my lifts with weights and reps for each recorded on the calendar in my iphone, I can post some of those up if you'd like. Most of my protein comes from boneless skinless chicken breasts I try to get at least 24 ounces a day and then i have 2 scoops of nitrean mixed with water. The rest of it comes from eggs and cheese.


How tall are you? Because for even at 275 you didn't look fat or anything. And those are some awesome lifts for 200lb and you barely lost anything for a 75lb cut. Great job man. I'm jealous.

Im 6'1 but im hoping to grow another inch or two lol, at 275 i was quite chubby i dont think that picture really does it much justice but its all i have. Thanks it was a rough getting adjusted to but im happy with the results as well, now the bulk to 240-250 begins!

Okay I was kinda surprised at first but that makes sense. And black shirts will hide the shadow from any bulges too, so that probably helped.

I'd guess 13%-ish to 14%-ish.

What is your waist and hip measurements? Take 3 different measurements:

1) Across your bellybutton

2) Just above your hip bones or pelvis (so just below the love handle area)

3) Your hips at the largest protrusion of your buttocks.

I'm going to guess your waist measurements are between 33 and 34 and your hips are around 39.

Use this calculator to estimate your own bodyfat. It is fairly accurate:

That's something to still be proud of. Shedding 65lbs is pretty good.
