View Full Version : Vacation coming up, thinking of starting carb rotation for cut

Thanks for all of your advice in the past - you have helped me more than you know. I have been on a lean-bulk for the last 2mos and things have worked fairly well. All measurements are up in a very good way and strength is through the roof. Unfortunately, I recently injured my wrist and lifting heavy is becoming more difficult so between that and my Caribbean vacation coming up, I'm wanting to start a cut. I have never had a successful cut in the past but I want to go down from my current size (173# @ 16%) to as low as I can prior to my vaca. Currently its scheduled for Sept 1 so I have about 9 weeks from today.

Im wanting to do the carb rotation based on the article on this site (http://www.wannabebig.com/diet-and-nutrition/carb-rotation-an-in-depth-guide-to-personalizing-your-diet/)

In 9 weeks, where should I set my expectations for BF% loss? Im thinking 1-1.5lb of fat per week

has anybody tried the carb rotation as prescribed and had good luck?

thanks all.
