Vincent made weight. 242 Wow. Vincent has been through a lot this past year. His discipline is inspiring! All of you that have known Vincent know that for years he was a 308er and SHW. He said he would make 242 and laid out a plan and stuck to it. Can't wait to hear of his results! Best of luck Vincent own the platform. SFW bro!

Wow! I thought this was a joke when I first read it. From SHW/308 to 242??? Amazing. I'm anxious to see how it effects his #'s. How much of it was "cut" and how much was actual weight loss?

Travis Bell

I believe he dieted to around 260 and then cut water from there

Wow. Good job Vinny. Is Vinny lifting raw or did he get fitted with a new shirt? Either way, I wish him luck.

Pretty sure he got fitted with a new shirt. From what I've read, I think he is going to do like his last meet opening with a loose shirt and moving to a tighter shirt for his 2nd and 3rd attempts.

Vincent hit 730 on his opener and got bad call on his second and third attempt w 750. He walked away with first place and best lifter. Talked to some guys that were at the meet and all three of his attempts were smoke shows! Congrats Vincent!

Way to go Vin!! Changing your leverages like that and still cranking out 730 is awesome. I'm sure once you give yourself a bit more time to acclimate to the weight class it'll be even more impressive.

Nice work Vincent!

That takes incredible discipline to cut that kind of weight and great courage to enter a competition while still acclimating to the new bodyweight.

Vincent was 270 with clothes right before he started warming up. Now THAT takes dedication.

Thanks guys. It was quite a long and grueling experience. There were many people that helped me, and for that I am grateful. I will take some time in the next day or two to get my thoughts out there. I want to do that properly without just rushing it out there. I just got home and am very spent. I also have some dr and attorney appts the next few days. Nothing serious, just stuff I have put on the back burner while getting ready for this meet. You know, life, that stuff we do between training sessions.

I definitely had more in me than the 730. As I was pressing my second attempt-750, I had my third (which was to be over 8) already picked out in my head. Anyway the judges didn't see it my way. I took it again and they were not feeling me there either. I'll post vids and you can all make your own judgements. Anyway, I said my goal was to hit 242 and make it into the current top ten. The 730 puts me 8th on plwatch. So, I hit my goal. Just a little disappointed because there was more there.

Thanks again everyone. Like I said, I'll get more out in the next couple of days.

Congrats!

PLing and cutting that much weight at the same time puts you in a special category of insane dedication.

Very admirable stuff man.
