So I was at a bbq 4th of July 2009...Had a few beers in me and decided to step on the scale for a laugh. When I saw 305lbs, I decided instantly it was time for change.
Since that day in 2009, I have been at the gym for a minimum of 45min per day for 365 days. In September I checked into WBB as it had some positive reviews with a great community3 to back it. My original intentions were to lose weight, then I joined WBB and wanted to lift heavy. Now I realize I just want a healthy lifestyle with attainable goals.
My goal was 225lbs by June '10, I met and exceded that goal in May '10. Do I have a long way to go? Hell yes. Am I proud of my achievement for a years worth of work? Hell yes.

As for diet, I stuck to a very strict diet for the past year.
Breakfast is fresh fruit with 1cup oatmeal
Lunch leftovers from dinner
Dinner which is usually pork chicken or steak with steamed veggies and a starch if lift day otherwise more veggies
It may not be the best diet, but I'm proud of my progress so far!
If you guys have any comments, feel free to ask and I'll respond when I get a chance.
As for my journal here, I haven't been updating it as I prefer to just use a paper journal and not transcribe it.
