If I'm planning to deload this week, should I still ingest insulin-spiking food such as whey/dex shake after my workout? It feels like I wouldn't need as much of a spike as I usually do if I'm only going light on the weights.
And also should I still keep eating the same amount? I'm on a bulk at the moment, but I feel like if I keep my eating the same I'll store excess fat, especially if I don't even end up lifting during this week (there may or may not be gyms nearby where I'm going).
