Here we go: Is there such a thing as a "QUIET BLENDER?"

Correct me if I'm wrong here but I'm pretty sure blenders are just about the loudest thing man has made so far. But seriously, coming home late at night I feel horrible when I make a shake when people are sleeping. :angel:

Are there ANY blenders out there that aren't so noisy? Any info would be greatly appreciated! :D

Use a shaker cup with a built-in strainer. I have one from AST> NOt quite as effective, but they're fairly quiet.

Hand-held blenders are a bit quieter as well, but they still make some noise, unfortunately.
