Hi.
I've got lower back problems that at the moment stop me from straight bar deadlifting and squatting.
However I do have a trap bar. It's one that has both the lower and higher handles.

I'm thinking maybe I could rotate Trap bar deads, Trap bar deads with the high handles and rack pulls?
What do you guys think?
Cheers.

What does the DR say about your problem? If it's bad enough you can't squat or deadlift, then you should definitely get a medical opinion.

Hey.
I saw the local GP. He said "do sit ups" pretty useless advice.
I've noticed most doctors are useless for anything to do with weights.

I'm getting money soon. Although don't know exactly when. I'm going to spend some of it on a good chiro.

For now though I have to use the trap bar.

Is there any way I can train westside using it?

What type of back pain is it?

A lot of the members here are going to be reluctant to give advice unless they are sure you aren't going to hurt yourself with it

But to answer your question, yes I suppose you could, however when you go back to a straight bar, it's going to feel incredibly different and your weights may go down in comparison to the trap bar
