I know you're a tough dude and have some sick lifts but what's the point in that? I see little benefit maxing out on a movement non relative to athletic performance.

because the first question everyone gets asked is how much do you curl? followed by how much do you clean and jerk.

Why not? I max out on random **** all the time just for curiosities sake. I also think theres a lot of benefit to doing heavy barbell curls.

Sick lift dude.

If someone asked me what my 1rm curl was I'd face palm just like I would if someone asked me what my 1rm is on calve raises. Clean and jerk makes sense though.

Why not?

Re-read my first post.

Maybe there is a reason for this vid that's why I'm asking the question rather than belittling the op.

So I guess it is relative to athletic performance in his case. Mind=blown.

I compete in curl competitions for money. I am currently training for the 3rd Annual Oct 17 Nasa Pro Powersports Championship: http://www.nasa-sports.com/Pro%20Power%20Sports/2010_ProPS.htm

Out of curiousity, what is the prize money like in a curl for cash contest?

The Nasa pro curl event will be awarded almost $4000 in cash.
