Hey all, I train with MarcusWild so he's trying to get me into a SDP. However its slightly out of my price range currently. I'm about 6', between a 275 and a 308er (sitting around 295lbs) previously have lifted in single ply only. Totaled elite back in May and bombed out of my most recent meet.

Best bench is 567 in an old Titan F6.

I have fairly long arms, but arch much better than Marcus, I'm thinking in several directions right now.
1) 2 ply Rage X with scoop/super neck, open back, etc.
2) Overkill shirt, one of our guys has one and it seems to work very nicely for him, but he has super short arms and a barrel chest.
3) 2 ply F6 with a super collar put on by Ken Anderson. I've heard the double ply F6 isn't very good though.

I'm asking for thoughts, opinions, testimonials, etc.

As far as other gear goes, I have viking pro briefs, and I'm expecting a Leviathan I got on closeout special, I'm also gonna either send my velocity to Ken Anderson to have velcro added, or get a new one from him with Velcro straps.

Overkill 2 ply and just ask him not to build it super tight.

The metal bash would work well for you. I loved that shirt but it is built for a long armed lifter like ano.

Hey Scott, not to steal the thread, but did you ever try the Ace before you got out of equipment.

I love the ace too. But if your looking to go cheaper just get a stock rage x. AJ robert has been using a stock rage x for like 3-4 years now. only thing done is the arms are shortened.

I'm 6'1" and 250. I've always loved my double rage-x. My guess is you would want a size 52. There are lots of these floating around used if you want to try one out.

I tried a prototype that wouldnt have fit me at 350lbs. Then I was on the raw wagon right before the final product came out.

sent an email out for a used 52 rage x, $50 so it'll be a good experiment.

I wore a 52 2 ply rage-x at 250lbs (im 5'9) , I think a 52 may be a little on the tight side. Depends how tight you like your shirts too.

I have a fairly small upper body, most of my mass is in my legs/hips.

Either way its pretty moot, got an email back saying that it was sold. I've gotta look for something else. I may just have a Ken Anderson F6 special seeing as how Ken knows my bench shirt dimensions already and can get me sorted pretty well.

I'm a long-armed, big arched fattie as well......... Overkill 2-ply .... after that ( I'm around 300# and 6'5") I liked a rage X ( size 54) that a buddy won from a meet.... and I did pretty good in a titan boss.

I'm doing well in an Ace now.

I'm not that much of a fattie though I'm around 240-250 now but I do have pretty long arms and a fairly good arch.

Hey guys, it's the magician, not the wand that gets the job done. Pick a shirt and figure it out.

This is a damn good point. Don't play the rotating shirt game. Find one and learn it.
