I did a search, but couldn't find any exactly on this. I never realized but egg beaters and the like are pasteurized, which basically means it can technically be eaten raw. Does anybody do this? Is there advantage of adding a serving or two to a PWO or meal replacement shake? Thanks.

Because they're pasteurized, Egg Beaters are safe and convenient to use in recipes that require uncooked eggs: Caesar salad dressing, protein shakes, smoothies, béarnaise and hollandaise sauces, eggnog and more.

Focused70, I appreciate the answer. I was actually hoping people would reply saying whether or they personally used it, and if they found the addition of it to be a benefit, etc... Thanks.

have never used it, but would def cook anything with eggs, unless free-ranged. I would use a whey protein, or a egg based powder post workout. will get into your system much faster and better taste! Or just cook your egg beaters!
