Damn I wish I would of been thinking about that at 14. Here is a bump for you.

If you want I can give you the diet I used at 17yr 5'4" 250lbs 33% fat. I do not know if it is a good diet for your stats.
I stuck with it off and on for a year and I am now 18yr 5'4" 160lbs 16% body fat.

I am also looking for something new to try to get me down about 10lbs and 5% body fat.

Man 1200-1400 calories is like starving.. You must grow..You won't grow with 1200 cals. Don't expect miracles from the xenadrine or ant other supplements. The supplements are made to enhance the results you get from training, so take a look at the training forum and you will learn lots of interesting things that will help you to develop the body you want to. You re very young and that's very good for you. You have plenty of time to become what you wish to. Increase your calories and avoid the junk food.

When you re a teen you need more calories cuz you re growing.
Don't use the calculators right now, they are not made for teens.Your diet must be based on your progress and not on caloric estimations.

You're 14, and 5'6" tall. If you wanna stay 5'6" tall forever then starve yourself, cuz you can't grow if you're starving.

You need to just exercise more, eat normal, and avoid sugary foods, especially soda. Don't follow some crazy diet at your age. And especially avoid products with ephedrine in them. I'm 18 and they bother me somewhat, I really wouldn't recommend them at your age.

Take it easy, just give more time to yourself and don't mind if the hole process lasts more than a month.Don't search for miracles, just make a lifestyle change and you ll get what you want.

My bad if he is on efx, but he never said, I guess I just assumed it was rfa-1.

Either way, you're 14, you don't need either efx or rfa-1.

5-6 times a week? He's gonna burn muscle with that much cardio.

Lift 4 times a week and do cardio 2-3 times a week. Its plenty.

yea indeed, 5-6 times per week is way too much cardio

At 14 you should start growing taller and gaining muscle/bone weight quite fast. I wouldn't push it. Keep your maintenance (I think you said 1800 cal/day) or even up it a little and do the cardio (swim, run, bike, whatever).

You might want to look at higher than normal protien and fat levels. Maybe 35/40/25 c/p/f or something like that with lots of calcium. Let nature do the rest by making you grow tall and strong!

At 140lbs you need to be eating between 1400 to 1700 calories per day. 1300 is way too little and you're gonna burn up some muscle with that. Since you're in school you're probably a little more active, and you're young so your metabolism is probably high. So you should lean more towards 1500 cals a day.

Also you need more protein in the diet. Try to get 40/40/20 p/c/f ratios in a 1400-1700 cal diet.

i guess thats true thanx so ill be ating 1500 calories and ill still be under maintenance so i can lose some weight

my suggestion is to eat at maintence level. cut out the milk, and lower your sodium. im pretty sure those healthy choice meals tend to be high in sodium. do light cardio 3x a week and just follow the wannabebig routine and plenty of rest.

You gotta take what people say a bit more seriosuly, or don't bother posting that you want help. You're 14 years old, and you want to eat 1200 cals? My parents forbid my from exercising hard or doing any lifting till right before i turned 18. They were worried that it would stunt my growth and thank god i didn't starve myself when i was your age or i never would ahve gotten to 6'3". Seriously i was overweight at 14 and know what it feels like, but be carefull! You don't want to stay short your whole life if you have potential to grow taller.

You DO realize he's only 14, right? Such an extreme diet is a terrible idea. Taking any ECA stack is probably a bad idea at 14 too.

I think just making the choice to eat healthier and exercise more is going to change your body to what you want it to be. 40 grams of sugar probably won't hurt anything. Keep in mind you're still young, so you probably have a fast metabolism. Just eat well, and eat a lot and you'll shed some of that fat and gain lots of muscle. If you keep at it, in a few years you'll be ripped. Heck, in 6 months you'll probably notice a big change.

I said a few posts ago that you should eat around 1500 calories or whatever. I didn't really realize that you were only 14. I'm going to go back on what I said and just suggest trying to eat healthy and stick to an exercise program. You'll see results in 6 months, and in a few years you'll be ripped.

I'm concerned that not getting food might stunt your growth, so, give it what it needs. If your friends go out to McDonalds, don't deny yourself the food. If you feel hungry, eat. When you can eat healthy, do it. When you can't, don't worry about it too much. Just keep to an exercise program and you'll be doing just fine. Just think, starting now you'll have a leg up on a bunch people your age, and even some of the adults on this board (including myself).
