Al Davis bench pressed 650lbs raw one his first attempt at the SPF Fall Madness meet held in Plano, Texas on Saturday, November, 7 2010. Al weighed in at 298lbs and missed 675lbs on his second and third attempts. Al plans to compete next in the Metroflex Gym Raw Push/Pull in Arlington, Texas on December 3.

It was a strong lift and looked like he had a shot at 650. He got it a little past the half way mark. Hopefully someone caught it on video. I kick myself for not taking my video camera with me to the meet. It's crazy that he benches so much and uses no leg drive. He also won the bench for rep contest and I am not sure if it was before or after he benched 650.

He has been a very good raw bencher for a while. I think he had previously done 625-630 a few times.

Vincent, I will call the guy that has the BAG camera and see if we got it on tape. It got handed off to a wife of one of the guys and I'm not sure that it occurred to her to tape it as we had told her to video all of the lifts of our guys. We'll see if it is on the camera.

I will say that I saw it and it was a really nice looking lift with a clean pause.

Oh, I don't doubt his bench. Al is a super strong guy and all his lifts are clean. I just want to see it.
