Here's a video of my squats and deadlifts from today. I usually squat up to about 500ish for a double or triple on my deadlift days, then i'll start pulling right after. Deadlifts felt easy and strong today, going to go a little heavier in a couple weeks.

That's some crazy potential for absolutely amazing future lifts at just 20 years old.

Exactly what I was thinking.

If he stays healthy throughout his career, I can see some crazy records being broken.

My thoughts exactly! Like Superman gets his strength from the yellow sun, Eric gets his from a yellow beanie.

Thanks man! Jan 2nd we're having a little deadlift competition at my gym, gonna try to get some guys to come out and lift, my dad and I are planning on trying 805 on that day.. as long as my pulls stay consistant and keep feeling good, i think i'll get it

Thanks! I use the same shoes to squat and deadlift in, they're asics wrestling shoes. So far they've been working pretty good for me! I had to retire my old pair, they were getting way too worn out.

Beast Status! Do you ever do pause squats, Eric? I've been toying around with the idea of adding them into my training.

I've actually never done a workout with pause squats before. I think because of my form, it would be a little weird because i would have to sit back and push my butt out and since i'm kinda narrow, i kinda just drop down and try to get as deep as possible without pitching foward and not letting my knees come too far foward over my toes. But that's definitely something i could try out next time with my warm ups at least.
