Is there any reason why a person couldn't mix say, half a gallon of milk and the requisite number of scoops of protein powder? Then you'd have it all done in one batch, for the balance of the day.

Dunno about yours, but my protein tends to start to get clumpy if I leave it longer than 20mins or so.

As long as it was left in the fridge and given a stir before drinking I dont see why not?

Nope as long as it's kept reasonably cool - treat it like milk; if in any given situation you're unsure, ask yourself 'would I drink milk in this condition?'.

Not a foolproof answer, but if you're the type of person who'll drink milk that's been left to fester in 100 degree heat for a few days then you have problems!

Mine seem to operate after sitting for a while. I would be afraid of getting mixed shakes. 1st shake 30 grams of protein, 2nd 10 grams, 3rd 15, 4th 70.....something like that due to it settling or separating.

Shouldn't be a big deal, as long as you are not adding creatine.

Creatine converts to creatine kinase if left in liquid too long. Which will just wash right out in your pee.

Shake it or stir it first? And provided you're drinking that shake in its enirety that day then it doesn't matter whether the first gulp is 10g, the next 4 hours later 60g and so on; digestion is slow enough, that any protein you ingest will be utilised.

Well obviously you'd mix it up before pouring another serving from the container.
