Tell me about Sucrose. is it good or bad after a work out?

not as good as high quality whey protein :D

IMHO, the only thing you should be firing down after a workout is some protein for your muscles to feast upon. Opinions may vary on this though.

you don't need carbs.. It is not essential but if you want faster recovery, you must consume some carbs along with the protein.

bullshit wizzard, without carbs in your diet you will die, theres no if's and's but's about it. eat more protien, more fiber, and a limited amount of starchy carbs.

First, try to learn reading carefully. He asked whether it's good to eat carbs or not, after the workout. He didn't ask if it's good to stop eating carbs.

Then,try to learn some basic things before you advice someone.Don't say things like "you won't survive if you re not consuming carbs".

Finally,try to argue politely before I make you stfu.

millertime, restrict sugar consumption to a bare minimum..
Use it now and then. In small quantities it doesn't hurt.

I put a little maple syrup on my eggs every morning cuz the taste of eggs don't naturally appeal to me so I need something to help me stuff it down my throat.

millertime, i would go with dextrose rather than sucrose after a hard workout.
