Meet Results - USAPL Holiday Classic 12/11/10
Thanks to my family and Bad Attitude Gym for all their support!
Weighed in at 256 dressed...
1st - 501 - near death, threw it into the rack
2nd - 501 - http://www.youtube.com/user/BadAttitudeGym#p/u/0/lgzZ5ZWqUgI
3rd - 523 - couldn't lock out left arm...weak
Not the results I was wanting, but I've learned some things from this training cycle and this meet. Curt St. Romain ran a really fun and efficient meet. I will definitely compete in his meets again.
I need to worry less about "sternum rules" and "start commands" and just get stronger. That's the bottom line.

Thanks Adam, I appreciate that. I've been lucky enough to train with some really, really, good lifters at BAG that offer a ton of information and experience. I just try to keep and open mind and hope that I can learn something from everyone.

Great lift on your second attempt. Looked very controlled and you had great speed after the pause. Almost looked like a 501 lbs dead bench!

Great lift. Looks like your belly/chest dropped a little on the way down. Keep them up and you'll hit even more.

Do they normally make you pause that much in bench meets? Or is it just when you are shirted? That seemed like a realllllly long pause. Dead bench is right!

Nice job, Adam! I know it's not what you wanted, but I am confident that you will figure it out.

Congratulations on the 501 Adam.
It was kind of scary, but I escaped unharmed. I must have had some good karma built up. :)

You are right Vincent. I flattened out really bad. Definitely something I will be working on.

No, I would say this head judge had a different interpretation of the rules. That's all I will say. :)
Congrats. Any meet that you dont bomb is a great meet.
Can't argue with that!
