When did you feel like 700 in the pull became feasable for you guys that have pulled it? I just did 3 effortless singles with 650 today at the gym on my pull cycle prep'n for a meet in february. I wanted to go heavier but wanted to still keep with what's working and not push it. Those were the easiest singles I've ever done at any bodyweight with 650. I just stood straight up with out any hesitation.

When my gym pull got to around 675 I knew I was good for 705 at a meet (I always pull more at a meet because of deadlift bar and deloading). I would imagine you are going to be pretty close next time you hit a max effort single, if you ever do that in the gym.

how about on your next heavy day?

I know lots of guys who can do reps at a given weight and can't lift 50lbs over that..... the only way to find out is to try it ( assuming you aren't doing a meet in the next month or so)

I just took my first run at 705 last weekend. My previous PR was 650, I smoked a 665 pull so decided to try 7...... I started the pull poorly and the bar stalled at my knees, but hey, at least I tried it.

For a meet ( I'll use my self as an example because we are both working toward the same goal) I plan to open light, around 606 or 611, whatever that Kg # is..... then if I am close to a total that I want ( 2300) I'll take a second attempt at whatever I need to get to that ( hopefully 630-660ish).... if 660 goes without too much of a fight, or if 630 is a joke and I get the total # I want I'll try the big 700 on a 3rd attempt.

That's just me though...... we all work differently...... good luck getting your first 7!
