Nice job. How long do most of you take to reset in between reps, on the dead lift, when you're working from a dead stop instead of touch and go?
I'm right about where gmen is in the first video in terms of length of time in between reps, but I've never been sure about how long I'm really "supposed" to take. Some of my sets can last fairly long if they're 5 reps or more and I'm not using the touch and go method. As a result, when I know I'm going to do a set of 8-12 reps, that's when I switch from a dead stop in between reps to touch and go. Anything from 5 reps or less though, and I don't think using the touch and go is really appropriate.
What does everyone else do for low rep vs high rep sets?

thanks all. i have my first meet on saturday. my goal is 450.
no matter what reps im doing i pull from a dead stop everytime. as for how long to rest between reps just rip them out. if you have to rest 5-10 seconds between reps do it. unless you are doing touch and go, then of course there cant be any waiting, but i really dont see a reason to really touch and go, i think it can cause problems and can throw off your form.
