I take it you're cutting down to 242lb?
I like how your partner is the person who has to release the monolift, give the squat command AND spot you LOL

I do. I got down to 260 in may when I failed to get to 242 after a dumb cutting mistake. I carb cycled with a hair of cardio and my strength fell off. This time so far I jhate ate semi clean with lots of carbs but have done alot of interval type cardio so Im actually in better shape and not just lighter and kept most strength.

Nice lifting Scott.

Did you build that deadlift platform, and if so, how did you construct it? I would like to build one if it isn't very complicated. I'm lucky to know which end of a hammer to hang on to.

We used ply wood and 2x4's. We put the 2*4's. Side ways and made the shell. Then we put 2*4's every 5 inches and thrn put 2 layers of ply wood over top. The bottom base is plywood as well.

This is my first usapl meet so the only goal for now is to not bomb lol. The rules are going to need to be adjusted to. Once i have an idea of how the meets go ill def have some goals for the usapl raw nationals in august

Scott, I went from multiply to single-ply USAPL. Just make your training partners judge everything super strict and use all of the commands for a few weeks leading into the meet. You won't even know the difference come meet day.

TO be honest I havent even looked at the rule book yet. Thats a good idea though I forgot about the "start" command the have.. I need to read it tonight and start having my guys cue me up until the meet.
