I still don't know how Chuck is that thick and a 275er.....mans upper back and neck must account for 75+lbs of that weight easy

I'm pretty sure it was 805....then he went 840 on his 3rd switching to sumo and missed.

Always great to watch videos of Chuck squatting and deadlifting. The mental perserveance it takes to go after weights higher than what one fails at previously is amazing.

Wow was not expecting Chuck to hit that last squat. Wtf. That is some scary **** with weight like that. Looks inhuman in the deadlift video. Jesus christ.

this comment right here...this is what I was wondering..after being unsuccessful at the 2 previous weights he continued to raise the weight higher and then nailed it on the 3rd...that's crazy after the first attempt i would think a regular guy would call it quits for the day...

Not only did he miss he fell both times and the spotters caught him. Thats mental toughness x 10

A buddy of mine to the side of me filmed his first 2 attempts....then wasn't even going to film his third..thinking he was going to miss it like the others...but then he looks at me and is like "Ok...JUST in case" haha

Needless to say the place went nuts. What made it more of a buildup was Yambarash calling 1100 for his opener...then 1145 after chuck missed that 1040. So to see him smoke that 1180 the way he did was awesome to say the least after all that
