This is my first post here and I am looking for any words of wisdom that can be shared on my squat form. I am training for my first geared meet in May

She looks solid..... a bit hesitant on the descent. I couldn't tell where depth was ( and won't try from a video filmed from the front) but that hesitation could make it hard to get in to the hole..... there's not a lot of rebound coming out of the hole either.... could be because of the slow descent, could be because she's not sitting back very hard ( again, can't tell from this angle)
Strong, held form well ( head up, knees out)..... nice squat!

Try shooting a side angle next time. She did look a little high, but will be able to tell better if it was shot from the side.

I'll post another vid tomorrow of her doing speed squats. I'll shoot from the side this time.

Good idea, that will help out alot.
Yeah, by the video it looks pretty high, but her 455 squat looks closer to depth.
Form looks pretty good though, If possible I would lower the hooks a few inches. As she unracks she looks to be losing her arch to clear the hooks.. I used to do this as well and when I started putting the rack a little lower and arching the weight out I could maintain much better form.
Strong girl though, looking forward to seeing all you guys at Nationals!

Form looked good, I would just try and start cranking the elbows down.

agreed..... looked good. Without seeing her upper back it's hard to tell...... usually elbows back means her chest is down and her back is collapsed..... elbows down will help keep everything tighter.
again, looked good though.

She does a good job keeping her back tight and chest up. If she tries to pull her elbows down the bar tends to roll and she has some flexibility issues in her shoulders (tightness at the deltoid insertion).
Not sure if I am lifting, good chance I won't be as 3-4 guys from my team are including some first meets. Plan is to goto the pro-am in Montreal the weekend after instead.

The meets in Montreal look really good. Wish i could afford to go.
