I was thinking about ordering some Methoxy Pro from Cytondyne Technologies. They have a guarantee that you will gain 10 pounds in the first month of use or you get your money back. I was just wondering if anyone knows what exactly is in this and if it has any known detrimental health effects.

You might. But only if you don't already use creatine. Hidden, quite sneakily I might add, in the ingredient list is creatine, though it's listed under it's chemical name(Muscle-Tech pulled the same ***** with Nitro-Tech.) The chocolate flavor tastes quite good IMO--at least until I got sick of it--but other than that, I don't think it'll do much for you. The amount of methoxy-isoflavone, which is a dubious supplement to begin with, is too low to have any effect unless you had 3-4 shakes a day. Even if you did, it's doubful you'd see any results, other than those that will be caused by the creatine.
B@I why do you question the effectiveness of methoxy-isoflavone?

Because there are no reliable studies, so far as I can recall, confirming its effectiveness. Of course, this alone isn't grounds to condemn a supplement, but the feedback I've seen from people who've tried it hasn't been very positive either.

brilliant post B&I
is this what you meant by the chemical name
Methylguanidine-acetic acid ?
* I wondered what was up because I was 240 for about 4 months and I shot up 5lbs when I was taking the stuff and lost the 5lbs after (just like I do with creatine) *
thanks again
