check out these 3 different sources all showing the protein content of 4oz of cooked chicken breast.

ONE (http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/poultry-products/703/2) 36g
TWO (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/chicken-breast-grilled-or-chargrilled-per-gram-7922216) 42g
THREE (http://dailyburn.com/nutrition/chicken_breast_4_oz_calories) 21.9g

I mean i understand there are going to be difference between brands etc but that's a huge swing in different directions from reputable sources..

???? how hard is it to get the straight answer ????

I hate that too. I usually use MFP to track calories and such, but damn I'm tired of googling it and getting 19 different answers to how much protein this has, or how much protein this has. It's lame. If I get several different answers, lol I try to find the average.

It's not of those. I use 27 in my calculations. You could just say 25 for 4oz to make the math easier.

You could just say 25 for 4oz to make the math easier.

This is what I use for all lean meats (beef, chicken, etc...) Makes it easy to keep a ballpark figure in the back of your head without going crazy trying to track it all.

i use 6oz= 50p as long as you use the same formula each time dont worry too much about it..
