Hey all,

Just did a meet this past weekend and it took ALOT out of me.It was a 7 hour drive, all day. Even leading up to it, for 3 months I was very strict with my diet, training. Though I did get 2 P.R's. I thought I would do better. My next meet is in late June, but I feel tired and no desire to work out right now. Should I take off a few days, weeks? I was curious to what most of you guys do.

Any advice?

I usually take it very very easy for 2 weeks. Hardly go over 40-50% for a few reps. After that i get back to it and start the next meet cycle on a deload. So i really take it easy for 3 weeks. Rest is good!
