A month back I posted some videos of my squat. I got some good pointers about depth, but also about a possible lack of flexibility. At the time I thought "that is as low as I can go!" This was because I was lacking serious mobility in my hips. I have since tried to work on gaining depth, and keeping the hips more mobile. I am not all the way there, but it is one of many problems with my squat, and something I am finding to be helpful. A friend of mine who is into yoga posted this video and I realized that there is a lot in here that I have heard powerlifters in particular talk about for years. Particularly the necessity to keep an injury mobile, and to not allow the "fuzz" to set in. This is not earth shattering, but I think it adds some scientific background to what powerlifters have said all along.
