It is a good tool for overloading the bench press; though you could always use reverse bands if you are looking for an alternative.

That is called a Sling Shot, it is used to help to keep your elbows in and to take some of the stress off of your pecs in the bottom of the movement by providing some rebound. This makes it safer to bench press and allows you to overload the movement (use heavier weights than you could without it).

Thats some great training Tom, what were those incline presses? 125s? Clean as hell too!

Tom what do you do for diet? You stay pretty lean for a pure strength guy yet still are massive.
