Canola is good oil from what I've seen. Very good ratio's on it and a nice compliment to safflour oil.

If you want a really good oil, try out pumpkin seed or hemp seed oil though. They're right up there with flax seed and the pumpkin actually tastes good!

What do you expect them to say? I've heard the bad things about rape and never found anything to counter what's being said.

You should read some more..There is a lot of snake oil stuff about canola oil..Urban legend rules..
Anyway, I did my research so I can conclude that canola ain't bad at all.

Stick with your reading if that makes you happy!
If you want more proof .....

Actually the first one addresses those points, as for the second one, again, what do you expect them to say.

The first one acknowledges than canola is carcinogenic.

I dont get you..

How do you know that the first post hold the truth? I posted at least 4 links that back up with scientific details the benefit of using canola oil.

There are more pros than cons over the benefits of canola oil.

This should end the debate as I cannot change your opinion nor You can change mine.

I will let you know if I develop cancer ...That will be the ultimate proof that your point was adequate..Till then...

To much water is also bad for you. To much protein is bad for you, so if you do not use to much of something, it can not be so bad for you. Maybe this the same with canola, but never ever will a site or company dedicated to promote a supplementen, nutrition or something else tell you about the negative things of their product.

Almost all of the BS about rape seed oil is taken from a book called "Young Again" and if you read it, you'll dismiss everything said. It's garbage.

They say things like rape seed oil was used in the discovery of mustard gas...I assure you, it wasn't and as far as I know, all oils are carcinogenic when heated to a point just below their flash point.
