No matter what gear you're wearing or not wearing, no matter what federation you're lifting in, strong is still strong. That Maliek guy in particular is the most built 165 lb lifter I've ever seen. His battle with Jordan Dunn was pretty epic, especially considering their both juniors.

Really, really impressive lifting. How can people get so strong without putting weight on?

I just looked on the USAPL website results:

Jordan did:
Squat:671
Bench: 451
Deadlift: 550
Total: 1672

Lost to Maliek by 66 lbs

Both of those guys are monsters and both Juniors

Me too! what would you recommend? All I do now is conv deads and rows and pullups. Never really done shrugs. Are they important for traps? I read Wendler said he never did shrugs so I figured I'd never do them.
