Looks like he was going for the cash, rather then Coans DL record @ 198. Guess you had to be 220+ to go for the cash. I'm always amazed at how fast and effortless his pulls are

By the looks of it, I think he'll take a swing at Coan's 859 at 90 kg first. If he breaks it off the floor, watch out.
Love how he just walks off, like "yea that was a near WR, no big deal" lol

I am pretty sure his coach is Boris Sheiko.
So, tons of volume on the competition lifts working primarily in the 70-80% range, most likely pulling 3+ times per week.

Some of his monthly plans are online and are very Sheiko-ish. He does morning/evening sessions and works at an unreal work capacity. Very basic lifts, but does include block pulls, pulls with various stops, and deficit pulls. Very little training above 85%.
