Eat a few hundred calories below maintenance level, might not be the fastest way, but you'll preserve muscle, also you might want to include a little cardio into your routine.

About 500 calories below maintenance or weight x 12 is a good rule as well.

Throw in some good cardio workouts 3-4 times a weak and do some lifting if you want to help preserve muscle and keep strength up.
