Just got my own belt finally so i can stop mooching off the trainer at my gym, got the inzer forever belt. Question is, how do i break it in? Its super stiff i tried it on and almost couldnt get it off. Is there any special method to loosening it up a bit or does anyone have a home remedy to loosen it up?

Just use it - i have the same belt, it's still basically new, but between gym use, oggling over it at home, and putting it on because it's awesome, it has gotten a bit easier to take off.

What vinnie said in that other post someone quoted. Basically fold it back inf fourth working down the belt. I generally did it between warm ups and it broke in quite quickly. Didja get the 10mm or 13mm?

I'm thinking about getting the Inzer Forever 13mm, but had a question about the sizing. I wear a 32 in jeans, but should I just remeasure for the belt?

I think my actual is ~33 (Medium IF13mm). If I did get the medium, would it get any tighter than 33" or should I go with a small?

<edit>

One of my coworkers has an Inzer 10mm economy Medium and when I tightened that sucker up, I had a good 2 additional holes to go (I might have put it on too tight). However, they don't sell the economy belt anymore...

My questions are: is the extra 3mm support me any more than say a 10mm? He's had it for a while, feels pretty broken in, but how tight is too tight?

Medium is more than fine, i wear a size 32-33 jeans and i can pull it to the 5th or 6th prong hole i was also skeptical but the medium is perfect and deffinetly go with the 13mm i love it, all i was told when shopping was the thicker the better everyone urged me to get the 13mm

What thickness did you end up getting?

13 mm

Hmm Thanks, but is there any particular reason why people are advocating the thicker 13mm over the 10mm? Support? So far I've just been getting arbitrary responses, and when it comes to money and things I want to have for a while, arbitrary don't cut it.

I'm gonna screen print mine with one of my old screens when I get. Have no idea what I want to put on it. LOL.

I had the 13 and it was very uncomfortable for me when deadlifting. I alsochad trouble getting it tight enough. I went down to a 10mm single prong and I love it.

The only time my 13mm is uncomfortable is when I crank on it to get it as tight as humanly possible, the 10mm seemed too thin and didn't really provide support I was looking for, to each his own though everyone has their different opinions and preferences. I've learned, being a bigger guy, there's no reason to tighten it as much as possible, as the belt will tighten as you get to the bar and provide the support your looking for. I've loved my forever belt for the past few years, it's been great.

Today is the day I'm ordering one...Thinking about the double prong 10mm.

^I'd recommend the single prong as double is PITA to work with.

The double that I used for a while wasn't bad to put on/off. I'll just deal with it *shrug*

i would 100% go with 13mm

100% 13mm, single prong or lever. No way I'm gonna fool with double prong, PITA like stated above. My next belt, soon, will be a lever though, it's so bad ass.

Perhaps, a 13mm would work better for you, Mark because you're just a haas. I ordered a 10mm. Regardless, I'm excited.

I had a lever belt but I did not like having adjustability on the fly. My friend has the PR belt (with the ratchet strap) and it is really awesome just way to pricey

Mine just came in today! This thing is beautiful (never would have thought I said that about a belt...lol). The medium fits perfectly. One question I have now is: how the hell should I go about breaking it in?

Use it

Fair enough. I've been folding it last night, basically been working it up and down. Seemed to loosen up after a few sessions, but I suppose though use it will get better. Thanks.

After a workout, leave it rolled up, can put it out in the garage if its hot and sort of bake the leather, like you'd do a baseball glove. I've heard of people driving their back tire of their car over them, doing several crazy things...all I did with mine was wear it, and leave it rolled up after I was done with it.
