I just picked up some Amino Acids finally, Well i was wondering does it matter when and how many you take? Right now i'm taking three in the morning with my multi vitamins. Would you suggest spreading them out? like one in the morn, Another one in the afternoon, And one before bed?? Or just take em like i am three in the morning and thats it?

Basically everything...They are free form Amino Acids!! I dont know specifically, but they have a ton of different forms in them!! I would be able to tell you but my bottle is at home im at work!

amino acids? why would you want to take amino acids?

isnt protein amino acids?

ya, i think protein is all 22 (?) amino acids

Actually it all depends on what you consume, more often than not you might not get enough amino acids from food. So that's where these come in! As far as being in shakes, free form aminos are not just in any old protein shake!! especially all amino profiles, So cmon man it would only be much better if you supplement aminos. Right now i consume 270 grams of protein a day and take my aminos!! They also help you bulk up pretty good!

So keep in mind Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein, So supplementing Aminos with your daily protein intake would be much better.

free form amino's are basically every amino except

Leucine
Iso-Leucine
Valine

which are the Branched Chain Amino-Acids

the pills are a complete waste of money in my opinion there are 22 different aminos and every protein shake I have ever seen has EACH ONE in it

the protein in skeletal muscle is 66% glutamine and the majority of other aminos are BCAA's so if your trying to build muscle the 4 amino's just mentioned are the most important
