Basically it depends on the percentage in calories of carbohydrates you choose to be a part of your diet.
For example, if you choose to have 60% of your calories to come from carbs on a 3000 calorie diet then that would equate to 450 grams

hey...
Basically it's usually not in ones best interest to set up their macronutrient split off of a percentage. Needs for nutrients aren't going to follow an arbitrary pie chart breakdown that was applicable when you were eating 1000 calories less.

I recommend between 0 and 1000 grams. This will work 67% of the time all the time.

There is no universal best ratio.

I second that. Macro nutrient ratios are ridiculous. Me for example:

Weight:180
Calories: 4150
Ratio: 40:40:20 = 415g Protein : 415g Carbs : 92g Fat

That's 2.3g of protein per pound. That is excessive, by most any standard, not to mention expensive.

you weight 180 and are eating 4150 calories?!?!? Are you 5.2 with 7% bodyfat or something???

Dorian Yates was 5.10 260 pound of dry lean muscle and eating 3500 calories to lean out!

how can you eat 4150 calories and only 180..

Well, I am gaining weight on that. I have just been slowly nudging up the past few months. My weight lifting is going well. I'm growing. I was a skinny fat kid. It turns out all I needed was to lift weights a few times a week to kick in my metabolism. I also work 12 hours a day; 7 days a week. Everybody processes food differently. Different metabolisms, digestive enzyme, etc. Dorian Yates is probably in a heavy cut at 3500 calories. He, also, probably can cut more calories while maintaining muscle than most people, thanks to his enhancements.

People are constantly asking me how I can eat what I do, and remain skinny. I always underestimate, so I'm probably eating slightly more than I record. If the turkey has gravy on it, I don't bother counting it. If I'm near a date tree I eat a few. I count out my mixed nuts, but then I usually grab a few more.

I'm 6'2" and perhaps somewhere around 10%-12% Bodyfat. I always weigh after a huge dinner, a post workout shake, and a lot of water. I weighed 184 last time. I may weigh less than 180 first thing in the morning with no clothes on. I'm not particularly strong, or adept at lifting weights. My consistency is nearly flawless though.

If I recall correctly, one guy on HCT-12 was eating 4500 calories a day at 175lbs. He was 6'5" or so.

4150 on 5 workout days = 20,750
3750 on 2 off days = 7,500

28,250 a week
4,036 a day

My journal has pics, diet examples, and my progression in calories/weight for the past 2 1/2 months if it seems crazy.

Calories: 4166----------- P/C/F----------- 320g/501g/106g---------31%/48%/22%

Breakfast 1: 1c whole milk
Vitamins

Breakfast 2: 2c egg whites scrambled
1.5c vegetables and salsa
1c cottage cheese
2c oatmeal plain
4 splenda's
1 banana
8 cashews
8 pecan halves

Lunch: 6oz trout
1 sesame seed bun
2c oriental vegetables
3/4c rice

Snack: 1/2c cottage cheese
5 peanuts
1c whole milk
3c coffee
2 splenda

Dinner: 4oz chicken breast
2c oriental vegetable
3/4 c rice
2 packets oatmeal
1c whole milk
2 splenda

Workout: 20oz Gatorade
2 scoops protein powder
2 scoops maltodextrin powder

Night Snack: 4oz chicken breast
2 packets oatmeal
2 splenda
2 pecan halves
1 plum

I follow the 2grams of protein per pound of bodyweight and 3-4 grams of carbohydrate per pound for my bulking/mass gaining diet. Seems to work great but keep in mind im a hardgainer...

I cut on 3500 and I'm currently 218 at probably 16% BF. There are guys on here that maintain on 5500 and aren't huge either.

I question Dorian's accuracy in counting or what he did to his thyroid. Pro's often f with thyroid meds.

Your information is good but it in short, can u provides it in full structure.....i am waiting for your reply conroy.
