USAPL Raw nationals was on sunday. I won the 242 class and have a shot at going to Sweden for the first IPF raw worlds. This meet was tough as I cut 14 lbs in 25 days and went 100 carbs or less per day until the meet. Luckily I had Nitrean, Results and Opticen to keep me full of what I needed to train. I used Axcel for fat weight loss and for a pick me up pre workout as my evergy levels were so blown from the glycogen deplenishment. It gave me energy to push through without quitting from exhaustion every workout LOL. Dont take this as a cheesy testimonial but I really do believe without Atlarges support this cut wouldnt have worked. The products are top notch and they work!

All in all Im happy with the meet results. My numbers were way down but thats what happens when you suck your body dry for 4 weeks then starve a day out to make weight on a 2 hour weigh in. I hope I can go to sweden and have time to get to 242 then 235 and stabilize at that weight.

Thanks for all the encouragement from everyone on the board. it goes along way when you want to go buy a loaf of bread and eat it in one sitting.

heres vids from the meet. I went 605, 462, then 618. I missed a few attempts but played it smart and did what i needed to win.

Its super impressive to see you......
1. Go from multiply to Raw.
2. Go from raw to USAPL raw
3. Cut down to 242 even after saying "F it, ill b stronger at 275"

Your really taking the harder road and still won the meet. Thats awesome.

Nice work Scott! Hopefully everything works out with the Sweden contest, that would be a great opportunity.

So I take it you will be lifting in the new 120kg class at worlds? Given it was such a struggle I think 105 would be a bigger stretch than 110. I find it weird that USAPL has not taken on the new classes. IPF Australia implemented them straight away.

Absolutely monstrous 242 lifting. That bench press was phenomenal.

If Im picked for WORLDS Ill be dropping to the 235 class. I have a year and all the tools needed to get there so why not LOL.

Great job, lifts looked great. Inspiring to see a powerlifter excel at multi and raw.

I assume they're going to fill in the spots by Carpino formula, but did they mention how they account for the different weight classes. Some lifters like the guy at 100 kg can either go 93 kg or 105 kg. But if he cuts to 93 kg, obviously his lifts plummet. Kind of weird they don't do national meets with the new weight classes. The Arnold and some of the other nationals are run with the new weight classes.

I plan to do the Arnold at 235 and give a good test run at that weight in hopes of worlds.

Thanks for the nice words everyone!

Good job Scott. I am sure once that weight levels out for a while, those weights will really go up.

The heavier the weight, the better you lift. Your 255 kg squat looked like your best effort. Deadlifts looked good too.
