Alright so i finally decided that i'm going to start up a journal since my brother foozy (fooz rawr he wants moar) has a journal and he told me to make one so i could get some tips and advice from others on these forums. Starting weight at 160, 5'9, 17 years old. My goals by summer is 250x5 bench, 275x5 ATG, 405x5 deadlift. Current lifts are: Bench- 155x5, Squat ATG- 175, deadlift- 280x5. I hope to see some helpful critisism! thanks:hello:

Also i am doing the madcow 5x5 workout. These were my lifts when i started them and i will post them all till todays update.

No that was one week. the first bench was on monday, the second bench was on a friday...my bad

So far this program has been working for me fantastic. Im already almost at my goals and its not even winter time yet :confused::strong::clap:

idk what happen got 4 and failed on my fifth rep. first time i failed this whole program. i went up 50 lbs in a month and a half so i guess i cant complain. Guess im jus gunna have to repeat last week again till i hit 5 reps.

Your first pull looked like you missed the lock out or just arched back REALLY fast. I feel like you would get more of your deadlift if you locked your arms on the initial pull. After that, was a good set. I'm sure someone will have an opinion about that roll up.

Your first pull looked like you missed the lock out or just arched back REALLY fast. I feel like you would get more of your deadlift if you locked your arms on the initial pull. After that, was a good set. I'm sure someone will have an opinion about that roll up.

your right i think i was just trying to go fast on the first pull. I deadlift again today so we'll see how that goes. ill keep in mind locking my arms on the initial pull. thanks man

i think i need to start taking a pre-workout or something because i always feel tired before i lift. maybe ill just invest in some caffeine pills or something. today wasn't too bad though. oh and i remembered to lock my arms on the initial start for deadlifts, seemed alot easier

ATG Squat (Light): 125x5 145x5 165x5 165x5
Military Press: 75x5 90x5 115x5 130x4 (~ missed 5th rep, still a +35lb PR so im happy about that)
Deadlift: 135x5x 225x5 315x5 355x5

I think im going to start the gallon a day for a month thing in the beginning of October. I feel like im not eating enough and im not gaining any weight. its starting to piss me off :bang:

The shakes that you take are 1,500 calories between the two a day. How the fuck are you not gaining weight?
