Ok boys, this may sound like a dumb question, but I am curious:

When you guys are on a cycle, do you take any regular supps on top of the gear? Or is it, as I suspect, not necessary?
by regular supps I mean such as glut, or creatine, or even protein powder.

Of course, when on gear your body uses more of that stuf then ever, esp. protien! I only use glut when dieting and I don't get into creatine too much.....Mostly munit-v's, milk thistle, cranberry pills ect....

I'm with IB on this one...and every other one. I use Milk Thistle, Flax Seed, Multi-vitamins, and Vitamin C. Every other supplement is a waste in my eyes. Except for creatine and glutamine. All prohormones are garbage, the amount of enzymes your body needs to convert all of them to test is WAY more then you have in your gut. Some people like them though...personally if I'm gonna spend $60 on prohormones...I'd just get 2 bottles of test for the same amount. Just my $0.02

I always hammer the creatine and BCAA's when on a cycle, definitely ups my gains from just using the sauce alone.

And like the fat **** from Philly I use milk thistle, flax seed and multivits & minerals etc.

Is milk thistle that good?Does it help in digestion?

Milk Thistle is good for the enzymes and keeps them in check while taking orals.

shaggy - steroids increase your production of creatine thats one of the reason why they make you stronger so no point in taking it.

Do you know that creatine is the purest form of protien? So why do we use protien? Find out and you'll you'll answer your own question....

IBlifting I was wondering what you meant by creatine is "the purest form of protein". creatine isn't protein (although it is formed from arginine and glycine in the liver) and isn't even an amino acid (at least in the traditional use). thanks!

Creatine is a nutrient that is naturally found in our bodies. It is made from a combination of the three amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. Creatine helps provide the energy our muscles need to move, particularly movements which are quick and explosive in nature. This includes the types of motion involved in most sports. Approximately 95 percent of the body's creatine supply is found in the skeletal muscles. The remaining five percent is scattered throughout the rest of the body, with the highest concentrations in the heart, brain and testes. (Sperm is chock-full of creatine!)

The human body gets most of the creatine it needs from food or dietary supplements. Creatine is easily absorbed from the intestinal tract into the bloodstream. When dietary consumption is inadequate to meet the body's needs, a limited supply can be synthesized from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. This creatine production occurs in the liver, pancreas and kidneys.

Ok, I don't take creatine while bulking up cuz I already have a high intake of protein, high caloric diet, lots of meat, etc..Creatine is found in moderate amounts in most meats and fish, which are, after all, skeletal muscle. Good sources of dietary creatine include tuna, cod, salmon, herring, beef and pork. Tiny amounts are found in milk and even cranberries. So,it doesn't mean you cannot take it while on a cycle, specially a mass one. It just a matter of economics issues. I prefer to take creatine when I'm off the juice, lay off period. My calories are down and the nutrients too. Does it make any sense?? :)

Well cemm,

For me creatine is more effective on the sauce than off. I believe you retain more of the stuff in your muscles when on the gear, as is the case with protien etc, so that's why I still supplement my diet with the stuff.

Just my 2 cents...
