View Full Version : Deadlift 605+120 PR

605 against purples (approx 120lb) off 1.25" mats.
Form was off on pretty much every set making it harder than it should have been but I still had fun and got a PR.

Very nice, I'd be happy with the 605 & no bands. Wearing a squat suit there?

Thanks bro if form was better that would have moved pretty quick but I was not on song.
It is a deadlift suit with legs cut off, I will get a "real one" soon.

-1 for all of you knowing who it even was
Nice lift, next time I'd probably put the bands on the inside. They don't look like they are on much of the collar and if one was to slip off that could be a bit of a disaster

I have never used one of the new deadlift shirts or suits, only ever tried a squat suit way back, which did little or nothing to help. Though I usually lift raw, I wonder how much help this gear might give me. I deadlift in conventional style, and from what I've seen, sumo guys seem to like the gear more, some sumo guys even using wraps to deadlift, which seems a bit strange to me

Most of the guys who pull sumo wear more gear because they can get down to the bar a little easier. If you were to try and wear that gear conventional it probably wouldn't work out super well. Better to get your hands on a conventional DL suit

Holy crap I just rewatched it and those bands were right on the edge of the collar! Listen to Travis' suggestion!

Good lift..... I like that you rocked the plates all the way out for that extra spring..... that's a cool plateau buster.
