View Full Version : Quick meet write up and some insane raw lifting by my friends

I had a bad day. Wore a medium tight super cenutrion, single ply overkill, loose velocity.
Weighed in at 238.5, junior division single ply, SPF "northwest iron wars"

573 good
617 missed on depth, still easy, went up
633 missed at the top really deep, overcompensated probly

523 good (really hard)
540 miss
540 miss

528 good (realy hard)
551 good (really hard)
562 miss (I thought it was clean, got the down command but reds)

I made a lot of mistakes I normally dont make. I ended the day with a 50 lbs meet pr on the bench, a 33 lb meet pr all while going 4/9 on a very rough day for me. I left a lot on the platform that I should have had. Training went (I thought) perfectly. But gotta go get stronger. Ill put the videos up soon

Ben Rice (my training partner from school) went 661-350-733 RAW AT 198 and 22 (natural too)

Ben Seath went 859-481-666 (not sure on the dl) at 308 RAW and natural at 22 (i think 22 yrs old)

Both are sponsored by universal and are from a small town in WA. Unreal. They both train very hard and earned those numbers yesterday. The vids will be all over plwatch and I am sure they will be ranked at #1.

Awesome job by your friends and by you too! Any meet with PRs is a good meet! Just not as good as you expected. But; great expectations keep you getting better so it's good that you expect more of yourself! Great stuff!

Heres the video from the meet!!!! Not as mad at myself after watching it

For squats, I can totally see how I just bent over too much to try and get depth but made it impossible to recover from. With my third bench I cant believe I couldnt finish it! and on the third deadlift I know it was slow but I kept moving, didnt hitch and got the down signal but no lift. Hope someone can find something in this video that helps them, or can offer some advice. THANKS!
